Great customer service and burger's

Always come here to eat lunch while on vacation, food is usually good. Today we got treated really disrespectfully by a blonde headed women at register when ordering our food like we were an imposition. If you want to be treated good don’t come here!

Good place for a quick meal

Absolutely the friendliest staff ever. Food was good and abundant amount for moderate prices. Who would have thought a grill could pull off fish but wonderfully delicious.

Their hot dogs are soooo tasty and the crinkle cut fries were crisp and hot!!!!

Haven't been in 6 months and will probably be another 6 months. The chili is essentially ketchup and hamburger. The cheeseburger I ordered was bland at best. The onion rings we got, AWESOME! There are too many other places around but I can walk here. Silver Hill Grill is so much better and I'd rather drive there.

This is my fav place to eat! Their food is awesome! The staff is sweet & kind! I love their sweet tea so much I get it by the gallon so I can take it home with me! If your just visiting Holden Beach u have to go check out Surfers! It doesn’t get any better than them! Shout out to Tiffany & Jess! Love u girls!!

It was a fairly basic experience. They take your order at the counter then you wait for your food at a table much like any other restaurant. There are roughly seven or eight tables that can fit four to eight people and the service is quick. If you're looking for an extensive dining experience this isn't the place, but if you're looking for a solid meal at a good price on your way to the beach this is perfect.

We often enjoy lunch here. My favorites include the very best chicken grilled sandwiches and grilled chicken salads with a little fruit mixed in. The Cole slaw is exceptionally delicious and the service is always great! Today we also got their flounder sandwich special, so delicious and filling! Jess and crew are always top of the mark!

The burgers we're amazing and the service quick excellent stop for a quick lunch

I first found this place when I was doing property inspections in 2012. I can't rave enough about it. I can't speak for the extended menu because I could never get past their cheeseburger plate. I've traveled all over the world with the Air Force and I've had some great burgers. But if asked to pick my all time favorite burger, Surfers Cafe has it. I can't wait to come back.

Great little local spot... Food is fresh, delicious and plentiful, and the price was very reasonable. Burger was cooked perfectly medium, as requested, and the kids meals were a hit also. Owners were on site, and staff was friendly and prompt. For a casual, local dining experience, this is must have.

We eat here at least once a week. I like my burgers flattened and crisp, and they will do that on request. Love any of their seafood and chicken tenders.

Food is delicious. Huge portions. Service is quick. Great place if in a hurry.

Flounder, shrimp plate was horrible. The shrimp were too greasy to eat, the flounder was full of bones and also too greasy to eat. The one star is for the hush puppy’s those were edible. Won’t eat here again

This place has 5 star food...it has a simple, not to fancy, diner-like atmosphere...some would say a "3-4 star" environment, but I don't care about that! Their food is great...good service too.

Saw this company on door dash figured I’d give it a try. Ordered 2 chicken sandwiches and 1 order of fries. As soon as I placed my order I received a text saying the restaurant would not except orders but they still took the money out of my account. After calling the restaurant multiple times and having no one answer the phone I went to the restaurant to see if I could get my food or money back. On arrival found workers just sitting around eating no ones else in restaurant so why they couldn’t answer the phone is a mystery to me still. Anyway after explaining what happened to the woman behind the counter another worker got an attitude and said there is nothing they can do. Called the owner he said the same. So why this company is on door dash makes no sense. Terrible service.

Only giving two stars because I really do like the food. Service is awful. I was staying at a local beach house and called in an order. My husband went to pick it up and when we got home, we realized we were missing a family members meal. I called only to be questioned because they couldn't figure out on their end if I paid for that particular item, and asked if I could pick it up at another time because they were closing. My husband again drove across town only to be treated poorly and with disrespect, workers insinuating that we spend $50 on food and we're trying to get something free. Not cool.

I took a group of five volunteers here from Mississippi helping out with the damage from hurricane Florence and we ordered and I told the waitress to put it all on one bill and I was going to take care of it and the waitress said the owner said it was on the house. What a great place with great food and a wonderful staff. I would recommend Surfers to anyone that wants great food at a good price and wonderful service. M.L.Rowley

This is an absolute must stop for anyone in the Holden Beach area. Sort of the lunchtime contractors Hangout, usually I know two or three people whenever I go there. The food is awesome oh, this service is awesome and the pricing is great! I recommend you bring the whole family. You won't regret your stop, and there are few other Novelties in the little strip mall to occupy a little time before you head back out to the beach

We ate there 3 days last week. The food was fantastic! We have eaten at several of the other Holden Beach Restaurants over the years. Surfers Cafe is very good every time. I can't wait to go back!

We had hot dogs with mustard, slaw, and chili with fries. The hot dogs were fresh, warm, and good. Fries were ok. Service was quick. This place seems very popular at lunchtime.

A little gem in the wall! One of the best burgers we've ever had and we like burgers. Always excellent service. Seafood is good fried seafood (although a little bland, hence the 4 stars) but honestly the best seafood we've found in Holden (which is surprisingly hard to find in this area in our opinion).
